A small goblin village. The buildings are resin and are available from from Leven Miniatures Viking range & from their Saxon range. The palisades are all hand cut cocktail sticks, supported by foam board scraps. They fit around the village just in the one configuration, but are designed to be extended with additional walls sections when I add other village tiles together. The village was original 4 tiles, but this was the first that was replaced with the improved bases scheme- the original bases warped and my painting was much improved from when this project started. The new basing is cut from 2mm thick plasticard, the same as my miniature bases.
The buildings paint up easily, the texture on them is fantastic. A drybrush and a wash is all it takes, though I went back and added some highlights and additional areas, as they are so joyful to paint!
My scratch built warg/wolf den. The cave is cork tile, stacked in piles, and the edges pulled apart, surrounded by more cocktail stick palisades The front gate can be removed, and just clips into place.
